Self-cooling mats contain a pressure-activated cooling gel that absorbs your dog's body heat. As soon as your dog lies down, the gel begins drawing heat away from their body, creating a cooling sensation that helps regulate their temperature.

The best part? Keeping your dog cool doesn't need to be complicated. There's no need for batteries, water, or freezing.

Tips for using Cool Mat & Covers:

• When using the covers with the padding the mat should lie under the cover and closest to your dog; the padding should be under mat closest to the floor

• Keep the mat out of direct sunlight as this prevents the mat from cooling correctly.
  

• The mats are not chew-proof. The mat contains a non-toxic gel contained within a tough casing. However, should your dog manage to ingest the gel please seek veterinary advice straight away.
