Retail & Studio Coordinator
At Designed for Dogs we design & make luxury dog beds, blankets and much more. All our products are designed in-house, handmade by our skilled seamstresses and shipped to our customers worldwide. Primarily selling online we also have a small boutique adjoining our studio where customers can view our produce range in addition to the variety of treats, toys & harnesses that we stock.
We are looking for someone to work in our Studio & Boutique in Binbrook, near to Caistor, Market Rasen & Louth. The role is varied and in a typical day you will:
- Serve customers, respond to enquires by phone & email
- Oversee the production & fulfilment process, from receiving orders to dispatching
- Embroider personalised orders using our professional embroidery machine
- Dispatching & packing orders
- Monitor stock, identify items that need to be ordered
- Unpacking & checking deliveries
- Take photos & videos of the products for use on website & social media
- Help in the studio when needed - cutting out, ironing etc
- Keep the premises clean, tidy & organised
Our Ideal Candidate has the following skills & experience:
- Previous customer service experience
- Confident using computers – Windows, Microsoft Office and Web applications.
- Organised, efficient & proactive – able to think for yourself, take initiative and suggest - ways we can improve, and help to deliver those improvements.
- Reliable & trustworthy
- Friendly, professional manner
- Happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Must love dogs!
Hours & Location
09:30 - 15:00 Monday – Friday at our Binbrook studio (onsite only)
Opportunity for additional work at peak times - though this is not a requirement
Benefits
20 days annual leave plus all bank Holidays
We close for min 1 week over Christmas & New Year so you will never have to work over Christmas!
Potential to work less over summer which may suit parents – can be discussed at interview.
